Launch Team Training
I have participated in over 425 Launch Teams since 2012 when I began reviewing for Launches with WaterBrook Multnomah, a division of Penguin Random House Publishers and remain on their team to this day. I’ve also been on other publishing company launches as well as teams run by individual authors. I’ve participated on launch teams that were extremely successful and others that were definitely not!
From the knowledge and experience I’ve acquired, author friends have asked me for assistance with their teams over the last several years. And that is how The Launch Team Geek evolved. I now work directly for authors and their launch teams. I’ve managed authors’ teams myself and also helped several authors organize and assist them run their Launch Teams. I’ve been able to find a sweet spot I feel is effective to run an efficient launch team.
I’ve also taught about launch teams at several conferences over the past seven years. Those include: Blue Ridge Mountains Christian Writers Conference, ACFW, Asheville Christian Writers Conference, Carolina Christian Writers Conference, ACFW-VA Royal Writers Conference, Write His Answer Writers Conference and Kentucky Christian Writers Conference. I’ve also taught launch classes at local writing groups in person or via Zoom.

The second option is the Train Me Plan:
Do you have some knowledge of creating graphics, keeping momentum going with a team but need some guidance on when to do what during a launch process? I offer 75-minute Zoom sessions to answer the questions you have on where to get started and then where to go from there. If you need a little extra assistance on getting started with your Launch Team, I can help you! Whether you want one session or find you need a little more, this plan can assist you with managing a launch team session.
I highly recommend you buy the Launch that Book first, and read it before we set up a training plain. That way you can pinpoint parts of managing a launch team you need extra focus. I’ve done this with many authors, and at the end of their launch, they’ve reached out and said, “Tammy, you were right, this wasn’t as stressful as I thought it would be!”
