Tammy uses humor and wit to bring joy and hope to every aspect in life. Her past, filled with bullying and criticism from family, is the driving force of her passion to always encourage and inspire others and give them The Reason to smile. She’s gone from down and defeated to living a Tickled Pink life as she believes there is always a giggle wanting to come out! And desires that for others as well.

What She Writes:
Tammy writes clean fiction with wit, sass and a splash of romance! She’s currently working, and nearing completion, of her first Rom-Com Book #1 in a 3 book series. In her stories, her characters reflect her passion to rise above adversity to become their best selves with the help of God.
Why She Writes This:
Tammy’s life, though, has not been simple. She’s dealt with tough stuff, but her hope in Jesus, joy and laughter has seen her through each challenge. Rising above adversity is something she knows very well and she wants others to know they can rise above it too. Through her stories, she hopes to encourage others facing hard times showing they, too, can rise above adversity.
She compares her life to that of a pearl, her June birthstone. Pearls are created within an oyster in defense of an irritant or grit. And much like the pearl, our lives also face grit. But from that grit a beautiful pearl emerges. Life can be rough, but through grit or adversity, we can become the pearl God wants us to become—refined and beautiful in workmanship, crafted only by Him.
Tammy’s often asked – What’s with the Tickled Pink?
Tammy’s answer: Although someone told me that I can never laugh everyday, nobody can, I replied with the same answer I’ll share here. Ever since I was a little girl, I’ve been caught giggling or laughing most every day. I’m a glass half-full kinda girl, and there is always something worth smiling about no matter what the day presents.
At a young age, my sweet Grandma Meade—my heroine—often asked me, “What’s got you so Tickled Pink?” She’s called me Tickled Pink Tammy for so many years. Hang out on my site and I’ll do my best to encourage you and help you find a reason to smile, no matter your current life circumstances. And if I’m doing my job well, maybe pull a giggle out of you!
Fun Facts:
Tammy married her college sweetheart, Larry, and they celebrated their 40th anniversary in 2021. She’s mom to their daughter, Kristen and excited to add Son-in-Law, Ben, to their family in 2021. She’s also wrapped around the paw of a little dog named Hattie. Born and raised in Ohio, she now lives in South Carolina.
She’s the Founding President, and current Vice President, of ACFW (American Christian Fiction Writers) UpstateSC, Founding President of Word Weavers Upstate SC, and long-time member of My Book Therapy/Novel Academy. Tammy serves as the Social Media Manager for Blue Ridge Mountains Christian Writers Conference and a Virtual Assistant for a beloved Romantic Suspense author. She’s also known as The Launch Team Geek and manages Launch Teams for authors as well. She was a contributor in the Divine Moments Compilation Book—Cool-inary Moments, is a monthly contributor for The Write Conversation website, a regular contributor for Novel Academy Blog and other blogs as well.
